BRIAN ADAMS

I founded Adams Architectural Designs in November 2021 with a simple goal: to provide homeowners, builders, and developers with exceptional quality, personalized service, and overall value - all while making the design process straightforward and enjoyable.

Whether I'm designing a custom home, addition, ADU, garage, or subdivision, I approach every project with the same attention to detail and commitment to helping clients bring their ideas to life. I believe good design starts with listening, clear communication, value, and understanding how people will actually live and use a space.

Today, Adams Architectural Designs has completed more than 160 residential design projects throughout Oregon and beyond, helping clients turn concepts into permit-ready construction plans.

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION

My professional experience in residential design began in 2018 while working alongside Bo Robinson at Design Providence LLC. During that time, I contributed to hundreds of custom homes, additions, garages, shops, and residential projects, gaining valuable experience in design, drafting, permitting, and construction planning.

My educational background combines both business and technical training. I earned an Associate Degree in Entrepreneurship – Small Business Management, followed by a second Associate Degree in Architectural Engineering Technology from Mt. Hood Community College.

Before starting my own design company, I also worked as an Operations Manager at FedEx Ground, where I developed the organizational, communication, and project management skills that continue to help me serve clients efficiently today.

WHY I DO THIS

My interest in design and building started at a young age. One of my earliest memories is asking my dad if I could nail two pieces of firewood together to create something of my own. That curiosity eventually grew into woodworking, digital game design, home renovation projects, and ultimately residential architecture.

What I enjoy most is seeing an idea move from a conversation and a sketch to a completed structure that families can enjoy for years to come. There is something incredibly rewarding about helping people create spaces that fit their lifestyle, goals, and future plans.

I live in the Gresham area with my wife, Nancy, and continue to bring the same enthusiasm for design and creation to every project that comes through Adams Architectural Designs.
